The talented Portuguese forward appears set to bid farewell to Al-Ittihad come January, and his potential exit has caught the attention of numerous clubs, including Everton and Brentford.
Spurs' head coach, Ange Postecoglou, is eager to link up once again with his erstwhile protege, making Tottenham the leading candidate to secure his services in January. Jota's renowned agent, Jorge Mendes, is working diligently to bring him to the Premier League, where he has a wealth of admirers.

After departing Celtic for a hefty £25m price tag, Jota made his way to the Saudi League. However, unlike celebrated teammates like Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante, he is considered expendable and currently unregistered for the Saudi Pro League.
According to Teamtalk, Al-Ittihad could be enticed to let their £160k-per-week winger go for an estimated fee of £20m.
Acquiring Jota would be a fantastic coup for the north London team, currently perched atop the Premier League table with 20 points. The dynamic player would provide added depth to the squad and bolster their prospects of securing a top-four spot—perhaps even vying for the championship.
Jota flaunted world-class skills during his tenure at Celtic. He flourished under Postecoglou's guidance, racking up 28 goals and 26 assists in 83 appearances for the Bhoys over two seasons. To top it off, he scooped up five trophies—including the momentous domestic treble—in the 2022/23 campaign.
His agent should exert pressure on the Saudi club to release Jota without delay so that he can swiftly return to the Premier League and continue his thriving career. The only sticking point could be his salary expectations—Spurs might not match his current wage package, potentially necessitating a pay cut for him to rejoin the English top flight.
