Newcastle Star Banned from football

 🚨 Breaking News 🚨

It is with great sadness that we announce Sandro Tonali's 10-month ban from football due to gambling offences. The Italian authorities have confirmed this decision after Tonali admitted to placing bets on his former team, AC Milan, during a hearing at the Italian Federation.

To aid in his recovery, Tonali will also be participating in an eight-month gambling rehab plan alongside his suspension. This means that his earliest return to the field will be in August 2024, missing the rest of the domestic season for Newcastle and his chances of representing Italy at the European Championships in Germany next summer.

However, during his ban, Tonali will be allowed to train with his club, and we would like to acknowledge the unwavering support of Newcastle in standing by him during this difficult time.

Tonali's agent, Giuseppe Riso, revealed that his client is battling a gambling addiction and expressed his hope that this experience will not only save Tonali's life but also serve as a lesson for others who may find themselves in a similar situation.

In addition to the suspension, Tonali will undergo eight months of therapy and actively participate in an anti-gambling initiative, showing his commitment to overcoming this challenge.

We would like to send our thoughts and support to Sandro Tonali during this testing period. Let's use this opportunity to raise awareness about the dangers of gambling addiction and offer our encouragement to those facing similar issues.
