West Ham United are gearing up for another attempt in January to secure Manchester United's skilled defender, Harry Maguire.
Maguire was on the verge of joining the Irons during the summer and recently mentioned that he would be reevaluating his options come the New Year if regular play remains elusive. ESPN reports that West Ham is planning a renewed bid for Maguire in January.

While on England duty, Maguire elaborated on the situation: "The actual chance to move to West Ham didn't fully materialize, as an agreement between both clubs and myself was never reached. It wasn't solely up to me to say, 'Yes, I'm going.' Since both clubs couldn't find common ground, the real opportunity never presented itself, as negotiations didn't progress far enough."
