Pochettino on facing Spurs Tonight

🔵 Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has admitted his emotional attachment to the club as he prepares to face them with his new Chelsea side on Monday in the Premier League. While he wishes Spurs success, he is determined to get one over the league leaders this time around. 💙

Pochettino told reporters before the game: “I want to win - I want to beat them. When I play with my kids, I want to beat them of course, or my dad, brothers, or friends - I try to kill them." 😅

He hopes that his Chelsea team can reach the same level he had at Tottenham, a sign that they are doing really well. Pochettino emphasized the importance of being natural and not trying to be fake. He stated, "We don't need to show something special, we need to be natural, that is the most important."

The Argentine manager acknowledges the history between Chelsea and Tottenham, including the intense battles in the Champions League and the infamous Battle of the Bridge. Pochettino believes it's impossible to hide his emotions connected to his former club, saying, "I cannot say I forget all the things - that would be stupid. I'm going to be natural and show every game that I want to win."
