Zinchenko warn Mudryk

With their triumph, they now have a three-point lead over Italy, securing second place in Group C of the Euro 2024 qualifiers, topped only by England. Though they've played one more game than the Azzurri, their chances of qualifying for the grand finals next summer are looking good.

Zinchenko, the 26-year-old captain of Ukraine, gave a captivating post-match interview following their win. He seized the moment to send a light-hearted message to his fellow countryman Mudryk as the two gear up to duel when Arsenal takes on Chelsea this weekend.

The Gunners' left-back jokingly warned Mudryk: "If you score on Saturday, I'll rip your balls off." Mudryk recently scored his first goal for Chelsea during a 2-0 victory against Fulham prior to the international break. This ended his 23-game dry spell since joining Stamford Bridge in a hefty £97million deal in January.

Shortly after, Mudryk was left out of the starting lineup against Burnley but made a late appearance in their 4-1 win. This result marked Chelsea's first consecutive wins under Mauricio Pochettino's management.

Now, an exciting showdown awaits as Chelsea faces an undefeated Arsenal side that recently bested reigning champions Manchester City. However, Chelsea hasn't triumphed over their London rivals at home in the Premier League since 2018—they've lost the last three clashes. Arsenal holds an impressive record too, winning six out of their prior seven encounters with the Blues across all competitions.
