Barcelona has set their sights on Manchester City's Argentine forward, Julian Alvarez, as they prepare for a future without Robert Lewandowski.
With Lewandowski in his mid-30s, the Catalan powerhouse is already strategizing. Coach Xavi Hernandez is reportedly a massive fan of Alvarez, according to Spain's Sport publication.

Though not consistently starting for Manchester City, Alvarez has successfully netted six goals and provided five assists in just 13 games. The versatile forward can confidently play in central roles or out on the wing and can even team up with Erling Haaland up front.
In addition to locking down Brazilian prodigy Vitor Roque, Barca has concerns about Lewandowski potentially departing for Saudi Arabia either in January or next summer.
